  • To run and process payroll, you will have to make sure that you have updated your billing info and also have a current version of QuickBooks Desktop payroll.
  • Please Note: Please contact us to renew or reactivate your subscription if you have QuickBooks Desktop Assisted.
  • Inside your Desktop file.
  • Go to Employees in QuickBooks, click on My Payroll Service, and then select Account/Billing Information.
  • Using your Intuit Account, sign in.
  • Select the Reactivate link in the Service Information section next to your service status.
  • Choose your payroll service, and then click on Proceed to Checkout.
  • You can update or add your payment information by clicking on the Payment Method. Now, click on Submit.
  • Click on Place Order.
  • Now, you need to click on Next and then return back to QuickBooks.
  • By signing back in,verify that your service is active and then select Employees. Click on My Payroll Service. Now, click on Account/Billing Information and then check the Service Status.

  • Using your Intuit login, sign in to QuickBooks My Account.
  • Select the product or service you would like to manage in the Manage your QuickBooks page.
  • Select the Payroll Subscription tile, under Products &Services.
  • Under the blue Toolbar,the status of the subscription shows. You can see Canceled as the status of the subscription in such cases. Under the status,click on the Resubscribe link.
  • In the Reactivate Subscription fields,confirm that the information is correct and then click on Save and Continue.
  • Now, you need to review the billing information and the subscription details. Click on Reactivate.
  • You will see a pop-up message that your payroll subscription has been reactivated. Click on Got it!
  • Please Note: For the reactivation of your subscription to fully complete, it may take up to 24 hours. Once the reactivation is complete, your subscription will show active.
  • With the help of a cancellation email.
  • In the email, click on the Resubscribe-button.By doing so you get routed to the Intuit QuickBooks My Account page.
  • Using your Intuit Login credentials, sign in.
  • Now, make updates in your payment information, and then select Save and Continue.
  • Validate whether all the information that you’ve entered in the previous page is entered correct, then click on Reactivate.
  • Message appears (Your Subscription is reactivated!). Click on Got it! Your data is being prepared by our system at this point which may take up to 24 hours to complete.
  • Using your My Account.
  • Using your Intuit credentials, sign in to Intuit QuickBooks Desktop My Account.
  • Choose the product or service in the Manage your QuickBooks page you would like to manage.
  • Under Products & Services,select the Payroll Subscription tile.
  • On the upper right corner of the page, the status of the subscription is displayed.
  • If your subscription is already renewed, your status will show as Active. Else, the status will show Reactivation in progress.
  • In case I  have requested for cancellation of my payroll subscription but I need to provide W-2s and process forms.

Every time my subscription reaches its renewal date,do I have to manually renew it?

  • No you do not have to do this as your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll subscription is set to auto-renew by default. For our system to renew your subscription automatically, all you need to do is ensure that a valid billing information is on file with us.

How to cancel my subscription?

  • The steps in Cancel Standard, Enhanced, or Basic payroll service can be referred for the same.

  • We feel sorry to see you go. You’ll no longer be able to create paychecks, pay taxes, or file federal and state tax forms in your QuickBooks Desktop file once you cancel your subscription.
  • Please Note: Cancel a different payroll product is you are looking to cancel another payroll service.
