How to resolve .Net Framework Error When Using Quickbooks Desktop With the help of Quickbooks Support Number

If you ever see .NET Framework error while using QuickBooks system then we are here to discuss how to remove it with the help of QuickBooks Support Number.

To run web-based apps QuickBooks application always uses Microsoft application out of which one of them is Microsoft .NET Framework. If .NET Framework has an issue, Then QuickBooks application may not work properly.

Before you do the manual fix, you may follow these steps in main install QuickBooks Desktop errors article. If these steps don’t fix the issue, come back to this article. Follow the steps for your operating system.

Windows 10, 8.1, and 8

  1. Click & close all open programs from task manager.
  2. Click & select Start menu.
  3. Click on Type “Control Panel” into the search bar and open Control Panel by clicking ok on search bar.
  4. Click on Programs and Features.
  5. Click on Uninstall or remove a Program. Users need not to worry, as it won’t uninstall anything.
  6. Click on Turn Windows features on or off option.
  7. You can find .NET Framework under the list.

It is required to check the settings for both .NET Framework 4.5 (or later) and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

Note: The steps to fix .NET. Framework 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, and 4.8 are the same.

Check NET Framework 4.5 (or later)

If .NET Framework 4.5 (or later) checkbox isn’t checked:

  1. Click & select the checkbox to turn on .NET Framework 4.5 (or later).
  2. Click & select OK to save your changes.
  3. You can restart your Machine.

If your .NET Framework 4.5 (or later) checkbox is already checked:

  1. Select the checkbox to turn off .NET Framework 4.5 (or later). Don’t turn it back on.
  2. Click & select OK to save your changes.
  3. You can restart your desktop machine.
  4. When you’re logged into your Windows Machine, users can follow these steps to turn on .NET Framework 4.5 again.

Check NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

If the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 checkbox isn’t checked:

  1. Click & select the checkbox to turn on .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.
  2. Click & select OK to save your changes.
  3. You can restart your computer machine.

If the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 checkbox is already checked:

  1. Click & select the checkbox to turn off .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. Don’t turn it back on.
  2. Click & select OK to save your changes.
  3. You need to restart your computer machine.
  4. Once you logged in back into Windows, you need to follow the steps to turn .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 on again.

Windows 7

  1. Close all open programs.
  2. Open the Windows Start menu.

  6. Find .NET Framework on the list.

Check the settings for both .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and .NET Framework 4.5 (or later).

Check .NET Framework 3.5 SP1

In case, if the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 checkbox isn’t checked:

  1. Select the checkbox to turn on .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.
  2. Click & select OK to save your changes.
  3. Restart your computer machine.

If the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 checkbox is already checked:

  1. You can Select the checkbox to turn off .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. Don’t turn it back on.
  2. Click & select OK to save your changes.
  3. You can restart your computer machine.
  4. When you’re signed in back into Windows, follow the steps to turn .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 on again

Check .NET Framework 4.5 (or later)

In case, if Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 (or later) isn’t on the list, follow the steps from Microsoft to install it.

In case, if Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 (or later) is on the list, repair it:

  1. Click on the programs & features option. In the Programs and Features option, please select Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 (or later). Then click & select Uninstall/Change.
  2. Click & select Repair and then select Next.
  3. You need to read & follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Once the repair finishes, you can restart your computer machine.

In case, if repair is successful, then click open QuickBooks software again. If everything is working, it means error is resolved.

Still, if you are facing the same .NET Framework error during or after the repair of your computer machine:

  1. You should follow the steps from Microsoft to uninstall .NET Framework.
  2. Then click reinstall .NET Framework 4.5 (or later).
