This article will let you know how to fix any issue that is occurring while using QuickBooks desktop application on Windows Operating system.

The most simple and quick step we can do is running an applications repair. This can be done on Windows 10/8.1/8 and 7.

Most Important: Please do not forget to create a backup of your company file.

We will start by restarting the machine to close any unnecessary program.

Next and very important is to create a backup of your QuickBooks company file.

› Click on Start icon on desktop, further you click on Control Panel.

› You will have to type Control Panel in search in case you face difficulty in finding it in Start.

› Click on Program and Features

› This will open a window Uninstall or change a program.

› Scroll to QuickBooks and right click on it. Then choose Uninstall/Change.

› Then Continue -> Next

› Repair -> Next (Let the repair complete)

› Finally Finish

› Restart your machine

What if an error occurs during repair?

Click on Ignore and OK.

There might be several dialogue boxes you just need to click on Ignore and proceed to repair.

If no option to ignore then Close and repair.

Now reboot the computer.
