If we want our QuickBooks to work in the way we want. So Advanced Company Settings is for that where our company file is set up.<\/p>\n

Now how do we set this Advanced Company Setting?<\/strong><\/p>\n

i.<\/strong> Go to the Toolbar<\/p>\n

ii.<\/strong> Click on the Gear Icon<\/p>\n

iii.<\/strong> Scroll down to Settings. You may find Company settings or Account and Settings.<\/p>\n

iv.<\/strong> Scroll down to look for Advanced option.<\/p>\n

v.<\/strong> There will be multiple sections which you can choose and modify as per your requirement.<\/p>\n

Here are some characteristic preferences for Advanced company settings which you may chose accordingly:<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will be prompted to set preferences for the first time used features which you can choose as desired.<\/p>\n

There can be prompt for incorrect date and time.<\/p>\n

Prompt about your successful login and logout to QuickBooks online.<\/p>\n

Disabling inactive account and enabling active ones.<\/p>\n

Warning about wrong or multiple transaction details or account details.<\/p>\n

Making sure that the defaults are set correctly and all the fields are set with the data that are needed as per the requirement.<\/p>\n

There are certain preferences for accounting as well in which you may set up the fiscal year and set the closing date. You may even specify the accounting method.<\/p>\n

You may change the language setting.<\/p>\n

You may choose the type of form used by your company and even edit the form for their location and class.<\/p>\n

You will even have option to pre\u2013fill certain sections of the form.<\/p>\n

You may also pre-update the payment information on our account.<\/p>\n

You may keep a track of all your sales and expenses even.<\/p>\n
