QuickBooks can dispatch out your scheduled reports, if at all they are scheduled to send:

  • The computer on which you want to schedule the report must be running, should not be in sleeping mode.
  • Be assure that User Account Control is turned OFF with which security issue may occur
  • QuickBooks will run when
    • The scheduled report of company file should be opened.
    • If you have scheduled reports on multiple company files, NO Company file should get opened.
  • You must check for the latest release of the software of QuickBooks.
  • When the company file is in single-user mode.
  • An email account is setup up in QuickBooks.
    • If the email preference is opted to send it from Outlook, you should check it is opened and in running state
  • You have to check that QuickBooks is running for quick start-ups preference disabled. Here are guidelines given to you.
  • Click on the Editmenu, then choose Preferences.
  • In the left menu, click on General tab, then select My Preferences

To set up a new Scheduled report

Get to know the steps to create scheduled report with the help of QuickBooks Customer Support.

  • In the QuickBooks Reports menu, click on Scheduled Report
  • Choose Schedule set up
  • Choose the report you want to send. You can choose multiple report on same schedule
  • Once you have managed to set up
  • Click on Next
  • Set up the report schedule in QuickBooks
    • Assign a unique name to your scheduled created
    • Choose the interval for your report sending
    • Select s starting date and time
    • Click on Next to continue
  • Verify if the chhhoices marked are correct or not
    • In the Edit menu, choose preferences tab
    • Then on the left side click on Integrated apps, click on Company preference tab
    • Highlight scheduled report
    • Choose properties
    • Click on OK twice
