› To do this first let us launch Control Panel. Go to the start menu, type “Control Panel” in search and there you have it.

› There go to Programs and Features.
› This will open a page that says “Uninstall or change program”.
› There scroll down to QuickBooks and click on it.
› This will give you an option to Uninstall/Change the program.
› Go ahead with uninstalling.

› When you open the folder you will find a file with a name QuickBooks_Clean_Install_Utility.exe
› Once you try to open or run it your windows will give a pop up box for permission. The box will ask to allow if you want this application to make changes to your machine. Please click on yes.
› For the license agreement page go ahead with the option I Accept.
› Here, choose the bullet icon for version of your QuickBooks and enter the product version. This we have already noted down as it was mentioned above.
› Next click on Continue
› Now you will get a notification that will ask you to install a copy of QuickBooks to the default location. There click on OK.
Once the Clean Install Tool installation finishes you are good to go ahead with reinstallation of your QuickBooks Desktop.
